This would have been a far better show if I didn't have the original Battlestar Galactica movie in the back of my mind telling me there was so much wrong with this new telling. It's a great show. It looks fantastic. The characters are excellent. The intrigue and betrayal are gripping. But for me, there were just too many comparisons to what was being done differently this time around. So basically, the show is great, I'm just very old.
