Ten months after she controversially postponed the eagerly anticipated concert series, the singer has begun her Las Vegas residency Weekends With Adele tour. In front of a crowd of more than 4,000 people on November 18, including her son Angelo, 10, and her boyfriend, sports agent Rich Paul, Adele broke down in tears many times while she sang.

Adele sang a number of songs throughout the performance, including "Hello," her 2015 hit ballad, "Easy on Me," "Rumor Has It," "Skyfall," "Someone Like You," "Rolling in the Deep," "Set Fire to the Rain," and "When We Were Young." 

Adele appeared on stage in an off-the-shoulder black velvet gown, a silk wrap fastened at the waist with a gold brooch, and no shoes. According to her stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, "She's going to be barefoot." Or, if she prefers, we have socks available. As a result, the dress must reach the ground.

Adele expressed her regret that her performance wasn't ready in an emotional Instagram video on January 20, one day before she was supposed to start her Las Vegas residency. Delivery delays and COVID have completely killed us, despite the fact that we did everything we could to put it together in time and to your satisfaction.

Adele spoke about the criticism following the postponement during her concert on November 18. The singer opened up about her feelings about starting her residency on November 17, the day before her debut Weekends with Adele performance. Weekends With Adele is said to run until March 25, 2023
