The Kang Dynasty will apparently no longer be the subtitle for Avengers 5.
The Hollywood Reporter has gone into detail on the changes it says Marvel Studios is making in the wake of a challenging 2023.
Reportedly, one of the major changes is that the studio is seemingly moving away from the antagonist that has been the focus of recent projects.
Hundreds more variations of Kang are on display in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, ready to exact revenge for the movie's depiction of the'main' Kang's loss, which was hinted at at the end of Loki season one.
The character will either be recast or entirely written out, but Marvel dismissed Kang actor Jonathan Majors when he was found guilty of assault and harassment.
The reported Avengers 5 name change suggests that the studio is undervaluing Kang.
However, it appears that Marvel had been thinking about this ever after Quantumania's movie office failure.
Whatever happens with Kang, Marvel Studios is undergoing more changes. Bob Iger, the former head of Disney, has returned and said that the MCU became too wide by releasing several films and television series each year.

The studio will now narrow its emphasis in an effort to maintain quality and prevent viewer fatigue.
"Maybe the cadence was a little too aggressive," he said last year.
"...Because the streaming platforms require so much volume, one has to question whether that's the right direction to go, or if you can be more curated, more... picky about what you're making, and to concentrate on quality and not volume."
